If you have a CD-ROM tower and you are having problems getting the drives to appear or the drives are locking up when in use, there are some adjustments that need to be made.

First, make sure the tower is on and that all the cables are properly connected.

Second, the controller needs to see the devices. When you first start your computer the bios for the controller will show what devices it sees.  If there are none present you have an id problem (check HOW TO ID YOUR SCSI DRIVE).

Third, the controller sees the devices, but is locking up/not working properly.  See WHAT TO ADJUST ON YOUR SCSI CONTROLLER

If you are still having problems call JES 800-482-1866 ask for Tech Support.
